Comment

The reality is the first commentator is not talking rubbish as the driver of reduced head office space is not because most staff can work from home but reduced staff numbers.

Every single large retailer has done the exact same thing .

Not asking the majority of staff to come to work is not a good idea , think about new and particularly young employees and what there rate of learning will be. It’s much less and loyalty falls away very quickly .

Humans work best together . Not on their own. Marks and Spenser were the first to admit that productivity is poor when employees work from home, decision making takes a lot longer , culture is adversely affected , new employees take much longer to get to the right level, the term WE falls away very quickly and loyalty and development is lost .

I tried it and it doesn’t work at all.
