This government either are sticking their head in the sand or simply don’t understand basic business.

The very fact that the grossly inexperienced chancellor announced that this budget would eat in to companies profits clearly demonstrates a naivety that is frankly shocking as there is no business that will accept such an action.

It is glaringly obvious that this budget will never lead to national growth but will lead to inflation and mass job losses.

It’s time for the CEO of the BRC to commit to a massive drive to recruit every single retailer in this country as only then will they have the power to bring government to the table and demand changes NOW ! Millions have voted to change the government and whilst that will never happen it is a clear indication that retailers in particular are ready for a fight,

Stop hiding Helen Dickerson or step aside as we need real action not idle chat!
