Nine teams have been selected by a panel of judges to take part in the Retail Week House of Fraser Hackathon, in association with Infosys.

The teams – consisting of retailers and tech start-ups – will have 24 hours to simplify the multichannel shopping experience for customers.

Competition to take part in the event was fiercer than ever, with 15 shortlisted teams being whittled down to nine by an expert team of judges who bring wide experience of new technology and its applications in retail.

The hackathon will be held alongside the Retail Week Tech & Ecomm event on September 15 and 16 in London. For more information visit the hackathon website here and follow the action on Twitter using #rwhackathon.
