Asos chief executive Nick Robertson entered into a contract today to transfer almost 9.9 million shares to a family trust.
Debenhams chairman John Lovering, chief executive Rob Templeman, finance director Chris Woodhouse and chief operating officer Michael Sharp have also today moved a number of shares to family members.
Elizabeth Gee, wife of family shareholder and former Moss Bros director Rowland Gee sold 180,000 shares in the retailer. The sale was also in response to the CGT changes and not connected to the present bidding situation at Moss Bros.
The lowest rate of CGT will rise from 10 to 18 per cent this Sunday, April 6.
