Available in four languages – English, French, German and Spanish – the site is intended to complement the US$400 million (£217.6 million) brand’s European store network.
Quiksilver’s latest annual report stated that 44 per cent of the brand’s sales come from Europe. Roxy operates 10 company-owned stores and 11 licensed stores, as well as being stocked by other retailers in the region.
Customers are being offered two delivery options on the site (standard and express), with orders dispatched within 24 to 72 hours anywhere in Europe.
The site will feature content about the surfers that the brand sponsors, such as photos, blogs and video podcasts. It will also stream music via Roxy Radio.
In addition, Roxy has introduced dedicated customer service for online visitors, who can get information on products by e-mail or telephone.
