Retailers are always encouraged to love and use their products to the full but it can occasionally backfire.
Dixons group chief executive Seb James was stitched up by one of his best-sellers last week. Using a top-of-the-range, wifi-enabled camera, James’ children accidentally uploaded a photo of him in the bath to Facebook, causing a scramble to delete the post.
James showed more love to his new range of washing machines, however. He said of one of the products: “It looks like the same one your granny used but inside these things really dance”.
A true salesman.
