Data: Supermarkets get summer ‘shot in the arm’
The grocers enjoyed their steepest rise in sales in four years this month as the June heatwave drove revenues.
The amount splashed out in supermarkets in the four weeks ending June 17 jumped 4% year on year, according to the latest data from Nielsen.
