Selfridges has hired former Marks & Spencer executive Nicola Waller as its head of food buying and merchandising.

Waller joined this week and will report to Ewan Venters, food and catering director.

She had previously spent ten years at Marks & Spencer in various food category management roles and left in June. Prior to that was at Sainsbury’s and Safeway.

Headhunter Anthony Gregg Partnership placed Waller in her new role.
