Department store Selfridges has promoted womenswear, accessories and kidswear boss Sebastian Manes to buying and merchandising director.

Manes, who has been buying director of the categories since February 2011, will also take on menswear, home and leisure.

Manes has risen through the ranks at Selfridges after starting his career there in 2003 as a senior accessories buyer.

He will continue to report into Selfridges managing director Anne Pitcher.
