Shein: The rise of China’s $10bn fast-fashion disruptor

Fast-fashion etailer Shein has seemingly appeared out of nowhere to disrupt fashion retail and put itself in the mix to takeover Topshop.

Until recently, many people had not heard of the Chinese fashion pureplay, but it shot to prominence as a surprise contender for control of Topshop in January,  before Asos struck a deal to buy the brand.
