Italian fashion brand Smoo'th has branched out into men's casualwear with the opening of a store in Turin. Designed by Milan-based consultancy Creapolis, the 2,150 sq ft (200 sq m) outlet has three single-glazed windows and is perfectly rectangular in shape, according to the designers. Window displays rise 'seamlessly from the floor', supporting manne-quins made of reinforced polystyrene, created specifically for the store. A centre-floor feature is made from maplewood and all of the store's surfaces have been treated with ochre resins. The rear wall is defined by a black portal with fibre optics that act as a visual filter for the fitting rooms, which feature hand-drawn wall paintings described by Creapolis as 'little works of art'.
