London-based investment company Edinburgh House has sold its Southway portfolio to a private client of Allsop & Co for£5.4 million, reflecting a net initial yield of 7.9 per cent. The portfolio comprises four retail properties in Leigh, Bradford, Mansfield and Tolworth, totalling more than 52,000 sq ft (4,830 sq m). It produces a rental income of£450,360 a year. Edinburgh House managing director Tony Quayle said: 'The sale of these assets enables us to focus on larger investment and development opportunities.'
