Speedo is to cash in on Olympics fever with the creation of a dedicated area for its LZR Racer swimsuit range at its flagship Covent Garden store.

The LZR suit was worn by a number of medalists at this year’s Beijing Olympics. The Performance Zone, created by London-based design firm Path Design, will house the suit when it launches in stores next month. The area will include displays highlighting the development of Speedo’s performance suits over the past 10 years.

Speedo plans to roll out the dedicated area across its flagship stores worldwide.
