Cardiff shopping centre St David’s celebrates its first anniversary this month and has revealed 10 more shops, including Modelzone, are due to open before Christmas.

The joint venture between Capital Shopping Centres (CSC) and Land Securities opened with 51 shops. Since then the store count at the 1.4 million sq ft scheme has more than doubled. Estimated footfall for the first year was 36 million.

The centre is anchored by Wales’s first John Lewis, Marks & Spencer and Debenhams.
