Keith Swabey, who was director and general manager of Staples Direct, has been promoted to the new role of regional marketing director, UK and Ireland.
Sarah Haythornthwaite has been hired as head of marketing. She previously worked for Superdrug where she held the same position. She has also worked as customer marketing director at 3 Mobile.
Swabey - who will be responsible for ensuring customers enjoy the same brand experience across stores, online and catalogue - said: “Our marketing needs to be fully integrated and our customers need to have a better understanding of the products and services we offer.”
