Calzedonia, the Italian swimwear and hosiery brand, has signed for a store in Brighton, its first outside of London.
Calzedonia is opening a 1,900 sq ft store in Brighton’s Churchill Square shopping centre later this year. It currently has four stores in the Capital, including one on Oxford Street and in Westfield London.
Head of UK retail at shopping centre owner Standard Life Investments Ed Jenkins said: “Calzedonia joins a strong group of international retailers already at the centre such as Apple, Urban Outfitters, Pull & Bear and Berkshka.
“Churchill Square continues to attract major brands due to the strength and depth of its retail offer and catchment area, and Brighton remains one of the top retail destinations for international brands looking for UK market expansion beyond London.”
Lunson Mitchenall and Cushman & Wakefield acted for Standard Life Investments Shopping Centre Trust on the deal.
