Exclusive: Global chocolate manufacturer Lindt is opening a flagship store below the Piccadilly lights in London next year, Retail Week can reveal.
Set to be the “first of its kind” flagship store and experience in the UK, Lindt’s retail, d2c, and ecommerce director for the UK and Ireland Faythe King said it marks a “significant milestone for the group” to arrive in a “dynamic and vibrant” city.
She continued: “We are thrilled to bring the exquisite taste of Lindt Chocolate to the heart of London, offering a unique, enchanting experience for chocolate lovers – something truly unique to the UK.
“This marks a significant milestone for Lindt & Sprüngli as we expand our presence in one of the world’s most dynamic and vibrant cities. Our passion for captivating the world with our chocolate remains as strong as ever, and we can’t wait to share more details about this exciting new chapter soon.”

Lindt & Sprüngli runs around 530 stores around the world with over 14,500 employees, reporting sales of CHF 5.2 billion (£4.6bn) in 2023.
The group runs Lindt chocolate shops and boutiques in Bicester Village Oxfordshire, Leeds Trinity Centre, Manchester Arndale Centre, Liverpool One, Meadowhall Sheffield and Bluewater Kent.
Its outlet chocolate shops are located in Ashford, Birmingham, Braintree Village, Bridgend, Cheshire Oaks, Clarks Village Somerset, Dalton Park Co. Durham, East Midlands, Gloucester Quays, Kildare Ireland, Livingston, Portsmouth Gunwharf Quays, Swindon, The O2, Wembley, Cannock Centre West Midlands, York and Caledonia in Scotland.
