Spanish fashion retailer Mango has opened the doors to its latest flagship store in Centre:MK in Milton Keynes as it targets UK expansion.
Located on Centre:MK’s Midsummer Arcade, the 4,693 sq ft store is one of 13 new locations the retailer plans to open by the end of this year.
The new flagship store features Mango’s latest Mediterranean-inspired design concept New Med, which “reflects the spirit and freshness of the brand, and has sustainability and architectural integration as key elements” said the retailer.
The flagship is the latest addition to Mango’s store estate in the UK bringing the total store count to 53. The retailer plans to open 12 new flagship locations by the end of this year with new stores in cities such as Bristol, London, Manchester, Leeds and Brighton for the first time.
Mango’s director of expansion and franchises Daniel López said: “The UK is one of the key markets for Mango’s international expansion.
“Our arrival this year in cities we have not been present in until now and in some of the largest shopping centres in the country will consolidate the Mango brand and allow us to strengthen our position internationally.”
