The store will open on October 3

The 400 sq ft store is the first “Miniso-Go” from the retailer, which caters to visitors who are travelling or commuting to and from work.

The store will open on October 3 and features the group’s standout products across toys, homewares and lifestyle accessories.

Travel neck pillows, travel mugs and Disney-themed products are amongst the items stocked in store; the opening will also include a range of food, drink and musical acts for customers.

It is located by the Bakerloo line entrance to Paddington station in Paddington Square, the new shopping development in the area.

The new store adds to Miniso’s expanding presence in the UK as it currently has stores in spaces such as Bluewater, Trafford Centre and Oxford Street.

The Paddington location marks Miniso’s ninth store in London.

Miniso UK chief operating officer Saad Usman said: “The Paddington store represents a significant milestone for us as it’s our first-ever MINISO-GO store, and we couldn’t be more thrilled.

“We’re looking forward to welcoming our customers on Thursday, and we’re excited to bring a touch of MINISO joy to this bustling London hub.

“Whether you’re gearing up for your next trip or just popping in for a bit of retail therapy, we can’t wait to share this unique shopping experience with you.”

Saad Usman, chief operating officer for Miniso UK, is speaking at this year’s Retail Week Innovation Summit.

The summit, returning to Aldgate, London, on November 14, brings the retail ecosystem together for a full day of cutting-edge content, dynamic roundtable debates and unrivalled networking opportunities.
