New Look and JD Sports have signed up to take flagship stores in Westfield Bradford Broadway shopping centre.
New Look has secured a 10,500 sq ft space, while JD will trade from a 9,200 sq ft store.
The two retailers join other big names to have already signed such as Boots, Marks & Spencer, Debenhams, Topshop and Topman. Tenants have been found for more than half the floor space.
JD Sports group acquisitions manager Warren Thompson said: “We look forward to playing a part in The Broadway’s retail offer, which will showcase the best of the UK high street to Bradford. Our new and larger store format will create a fantastic new shopping experience for local customers.”
Westfield expects the new shopping destination to increase retail spend by 78% and drive 40% more visitors to the city centre.
New Look’s head of group portfolio Sue Jarvis said: “We are very pleased to be opening a New Look store in this exciting new retail development which will create an excellent shopping opportunity for the residents of Bradford.”
The centre is scheduled to open next year after years of delays, as the site was mothballed when the recession hit.
