Westfield London has today launched a click-and-collect hub in partnership with Collect+ that will allow shoppers to pick up their online orders from the centre.
The dedicated hub within Westfield London will allow shoppers to try on their purchases before taking them home – a move that Westfield is calling a “shopping centre first”.
Westfield said: “Westfield London will provide a luxury collection experience with a premium lounge area, complete with fitting rooms which provide the convenience of being able to immediately try on purchases to know if they are suitable, saving an additional trip to return items.
“The service will also offer shoppers the same extensive opening hours as the centre as well as one hour free parking to collect their deliveries in a dedicated car park area, providing great flexibility for busy schedules.”
More than 260 retailers are signed up to the Collect+ service, including John Lewis, Amazon and Asos.
Westfield marketing director, UK & Europe Myf Ryan said: “With the growing popularity of click-and-collect and shoppers’ wanting to use click-and-collect services at convenient locations such as Westfield, we saw an opportunity to respond to shoppers’ needs and ultimately help deliver a seamless experience for customers shopping online and in-store at Westfield London.
“The Collect+ @ Westfield pilot is part of our broader strategy to deliver digital solutions that enhance the customer shopping experience and drive sales opportunities for our retailers.”
Collect+ strategic partnerships director Matthew Jacques said: “The huge popularity of Westfield London as a shopping destination will provide our retailer partners with an excellent opportunity to increase their sales and it will also be an important and convenient collection point for our shoppers allowing them to try before they take home.”
