TV celebrity and retail branding expert Mary Portas is gearing up to speak at the Summer Fair, which starts this Sunday.

Portas – the so-called Queen of Shops – will be joined on the Summer Fair Trends Stage by Nicola Giuggioli, founder and chief executive of Eco Age, a green retailer in London’s Chiswick.

Retail Week’s Tim Danaher and John Ryan will speak on the state of retail today and WGSN will offer trend forecasts. Dalziel + Pow’s David Dalziel will give a presentation on trends in store design and Management One will discuss the Art and Science of Buying.

This year, the Ethical Brands and Creative Britain product trails will be incorporated within the Summer Fair to help direct buying. The winners of the annual Gift of the Year awards will be announced on Monday, June 23.

Summer Fair runs from Sunday, June 22 to Wednesday, June 25 at London’s ExCel centre.
