Supermarkets have had to pull products containing Irish pork from shelves after a contamination scare.
The scare follows the discovery of high levels of dioxins in pigs in the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland that can potentially cause cancer.
Britain's Food Standards Agency has warned consumers not to eat any pork products that could have come from these areas.
Retailers were told to check their product lists on Friday after dioxins were found up to 200 times over the safe limits.
Tesco removed its own-brand pork products sourced from Northern Ireland and has promised to refund customers who have bought products that may contain the contaminated meat.
The other supermarket chains have also withdrawn potentially affected products from stores; almost 10 per cent of pork imported into Britain comes from the Republic of Ireland.
