Delivery provider MetaPack has received a £20m investment from venture capital firm Index Ventures.
The logistics supplier, which works with retailers including M&S, John Lewis and Asos, has acheived average annual growth of 60% over the last four years.
MetaPack says the investment will be used to continue building support and products for existing customers, enhance MetaPack’s cross-border capabilities and fuel growth across Europe, the US and Asia.
Index partner Dominique Vidal will be joining the MetaPack board, which already includes former Tesco boss Sir Terry Leahy and Metapack chairman former Best Buy chief executive Bob Willett.
MetaPack chairman and chief executive Patrick Wall said: “It’s our job to make ecommerce delivery easier for the retailer and the consumer and this partnership with Index Ventures will contribute exponentially.”
