The Perfume Shop has moved its second warehouse from Maidenhead to Dunstable to aid growth.
The retailer’s interim logistics director Jonathan Williams said: “This move gives us more capacity to support business growth and allows us to provide a higher level of security for the business.”
Of the 12 workers at the Maidenhead warehouse, eight have relocated to the new site, with four being made redundant. The site, owned by parent company AS Watson, also houses Superdrug and Savers distribution centres.
The site has 30 per cent more capacity than the old location and will store business gift sets as well as stock from several key suppliers.
