Ann Summers launches on Amazon and rolls out free click-and-collect

The lingerie and sex toys retailer has started selling on Amazon to broaden its online reach. Meanwhile, customers who order from the Ann Summers website before 2pm will be able to collect their gifts after 2pm on the next working day at the majority of Ann Summers’ 142 stores.

Ann Summers is now offering the next-day service for free after launching it in May.

In the summer, Ann Summers rolled out click-and-collect points in 130 of its stores as part of an effort to link its retail and online strategies.

Speaking at the time, Ann Summers multichannel director Andy McWilliams said: “We know that customers’ expectations are ever-changing and the ways in which they make purchases is constantly evolving, so we want to ensure that we provide them with the services to fulfil their needs.”

The retailer’s focus on its multichannel proposition included the launch of a dedicated eBay channel in August.
