The group, which operates brands including Karen Millen, Warehouse and Oasis, is currently mulling whether to roll out the multi-brand platform in the UK.
The system allows the group to sell three brands in one store and has been set up in seven stores in Sweden and one in Germany.
The system is also likely to help with Aurora’s multichannel offer. The group currently fulfils ecommerce orders to its overseas markets but will launch local websites this year. It introduced reserve online-and-collect in store services in the UK this year. It said the point-of-sale system will help it to roll out multichannel services in other markets as it allows the retailer to keep customer data in one place.
Development manager Andy Tudor said: “We don’t have a multichannel capability overseas at the moment and this could open up avenues to have that.” Tudor said the system can also be rolled out and scaled up quickly, because it uses cloud computing instead of relying on servers. The fashion retailer worked with DigiPoS, rolling out the Retail SaaS solution.
