Habitat has revamped its website with mobile shoppers in mind as it looks to boost its multichannel offer.
As part of the refresh the homewares specialist plans to introduce a click-and-collect service through the site to its flagship stores, as well as 84 Mini Habitat stores nationwide.
The platform also has an enhanced search function and simplified checkout and navigation processes.
It came as Habitat revealed that more than half of its e-commerce sales are now completed through a mobile or tablet. In the past year the retailer has seen a 35% jump in online traffic.
Habitat head of ecommerce Jackie Bullock said: “Our aim was to upgrade to a more flexible, sustainable platform that would support our multichannel growth and at the same time allow us to develop an inspirational brand experience.”
The relaunched website was completed in collaboration with digital agency Salmon.
