Furniture retailer Harveys has implemented a single print service across its estate.
Harveys, working with OKI print services, has installed 320 printers into its 160 stores. This has provided the expanding company with a standardised and reliable system to support the heavy printer workload. The results have proved effective with the company able to cut costs and work more efficiently.
The previous system had become increasingly complicated with numerous service and warranty agreements in place with different suppliers.
Mark Spicer, head of IT at Harveys comments: “We now have the benefit of receiving brand new high-quality, robust and reliable printing solutions fully maintained and supported from a single supplier”
Under the new contract, Harveys has committed to a set volume of printing per quarter allowing the company to budget more effectively. The contract also includes a service package, covering parts, labour and services.
