Big name retailers including Marks & Spencer and US grocery giant Kroger will reveal how their digital strategies have enhanced their businesses at the Cable & Wireless Worldwide Retail Week Technology Summit that takes place next month.
Taking place on September 25 and 26 at Victoria Park Plaza in London, M&S head of IT strategy and architecture Alan French will talk to delegates about how augmented reality to digital signage can enhance in-store experience. He will also advise on the best technology retailers should be investing in now.
Brett Bonner, Kroger’s senior director for research and development, will reveal details of the retailer’s current IT strategy, which has helped make it one of the world’s largest retailers.
Other top brass retailers taking to the stage include Tesco head of research and development Nick Lansley, Boots director of IT strategy and architecture Paul Willows, John Lewis head of IT architecture Julian Burnett and Co-operative Group chief information officer Andy Haywood.
