Fashion retailer Ted Baker today opens its most eccentrically inspired store yet.
The shop, in London's Notting Hill, has been internally dubbed The Best in Show, and uses the famous Crufts dog show as its inspiration.
Chief executive Ray Kelvin said it will stock the best of all Ted Baker's collections, including Endurance and Global.
Dog lovers will be invited to parade their dogs on the street outside the shop in an effort to win Ted Baker rosettes. The window will display a 'doggy' theme, added Kelvin.
The 1,800 sq ft (165 sq m) store, located at 198 Westbourne Grove, will also nod in the direction of traditional shopping values. All receipts will be hand-written and there will be no computerised tills.
When asked if this might slow down business, Kelvin joked: 'Hopefully we'll be that busy. It's just a bit of fun and it makes us smile.'
