Ted Baker has become the latest retailer to launch a click-and-collect service, following the likes of Oasis, House of Fraser and New Look.
Ted Baker launched a click-and-collect trial across five stores - London’s Regent Street, Floral Street, Canary Wharf and Cheapside as well as Caxton Gate in Birmingham - last week and will now roll it out to the rest of its stores over the next two weeks.
The service will let customers shopping the Ted Baker collections online have the option to get their purchase delivered to stores.
This comes as other fashion retailers launch a swathe of multichannel initiatives. New Look is poised to launch the most extensive click-and-collect service in fashion retail, with its service launching across 600 stores from next month. House of Fraser is launching a new format click-and-collect store in Aberdeen.
Ted Baker brand communication director Craig Smith said the service was being launched in order to give customers increased choice and convenience.
He added: “This is the first step in a wider programme of multi-channel solutions which will increase loyalty, enhance the customer experience and ultimately further improve the high levels of service which we pride ourselves on delivering.”
