News Group Digital has launched an online price-comparison shopping portal for bestselling newspaper The Sun.
It will enable the newspaper’s readers to access and compare 3.5 million products from high street retailers, including M&S, Woolworths, Comet, Toy R Us, The Body Shop, Dorothy Perkins and Next.
News Group Digital head of e-commerce Lara Kelly said: “We want to offer Sun readers great deals and the very best exclusives from big brands and high street retailers. Partnering with Digital Window [an affiliate marketing company] will mean we can offer our users the most exciting shopping propositions, giving them value and choice.”
The publisher said it plans to extend the shopping channel to its Sunday paper, News of the World.
