Chocolate specialist Thorntons’ finance director John Wall has announced his intention to step down from the board.

Wall will step down from January 30, 2010. A search for his successor will be initiated in due course.

Thorntons chairman John von Spreckelsen said: “On behalf of the board I would like to thank John for his considerable contribution to Thorntons during his time with the company. We wish him all the best for the future.”
