Tile specialist Tile Depot has revealed expansion plans as it reshuffles its management team.
The retailer, which former Borders UK owner Luke Johnson has a 25% stake in, has 14 stores currently and wants 30 by the end of 2012.
Managing director Rob Gilbert has become chief executive and chairman, while Danny Steptoe, financial director, has been promoted to managing director.
Gilbert said in the year to date the retailer is up 14% on a like-for-like basis, and expects Tile Depot to finish off the year up 12%. There are plans to grow turnover 25% to £12.3m in the current year.
Tile Depot will open the stores in London and the Southeast, but may consider extending this nationally.
