Shirt specialist TM Lewin has secured its second site on London’s famous Regent Street.
It will take the site currently held by Finnish homewares brand Iittala, which opened in 2007. At the time of opening, Iittala managing director of central Europe Jean Jongejan said London was the “most sexy retail hub in the world” but it is understood the retailer found it too expensive to trade in the UK.
TM Lewin confirmed the move but would not comment on plans for the store. Property agency CBRE acted for TM Lewin and CWM acted for Iittala.
➤Separately, French upmarket watch retailer Kronometry is to open its first UK store on 106 New Bond Street. Cushman & Wakefield acted for the landlord and Montagu Evans acted for Kronometry.
