Debenhams has promoted Ross Clemmow to the role of ecommerce director.
Clemmow joined the department store retailer as divisional trading director of ecommerce in July last year.
He starts the position with immediate effect and he will join the executive committee.
Debenhams chief executive Michael Sharp said: “Ross has made an excellent contribution to our online offer since joining Debenhams last summer.
“Online retail sales are increasingly important to Debenhams and in his new role, Ross will continue to develop our digital proposition and help support our strategy of becoming a leading international, multichannel brand.”
Clemmow came from Argos where he was divisional trading director for ecommerce and multichannel strategy. In his time at Debenhams he has overseen site migration and an increase in emphasis on multichannel.
