US homewares retailer and designer Jonathan Adler is to open its first store outside the US in London’s Sloane Avenue at the end of this month.
The unit, which is located within the Leo Burnett building, comprises a ground floor sales area of 1,457 sq ft and a basement area of 1,044 sq ft.
The retailer has 14 stores in the US and the designer Jonathan Adler has been a judge on American TV show “Top Design”.
Property agent Stephen Kane & Company acts for the retailer.
Stephen Kane & Company’s David McCosh said: “This is the first unit outside the US for Jonathan Adler. We wanted a location and customer profile in keeping with the unique and individualist design proposition that his stores offer.”
Jonathan Adler s the latest US hoemwares retailer to make a play for the UK market, with giants Crate and Barrel and Williams-Sonoma both revealing plans for a UK assault.
