Poundland has opened its first Black Friday event, with deals available both online and in stores.
Starting today (November 20), the newly launched Poundland.co.uk will bring in new deals from a range of brands, including Elizabeth Arden, Clarins, Lancôme, Sanctuary Spa, Illamasqua makeup and haircare range Olaplex.
A selection of designer fragrances, including Burberry, Calvin Klein, Jimmy Choo, Britney Spears and Issey Miyake, are also on offer online. Black Friday deals will run online until November 24.
In stores, Poundland is offering 20% off all its baby and kidswear ranges from November 22 until November 26.
As well as its Black Friday deals, Poundland also offers “deals of the week” on a range of household items, health and beauty brands, and fast-moving consumer goods.
‘All in’ for bigger savings
The discount retailer recently announced a move to expand its clothing ranges, powered by parent company Pepco, to reach 560 stores across the UK and Ireland.
Poundland commercial director Tim Bettley said: “Whether online or offline, we’re all in with Black Friday this year for the very first time.
“Our event will allow our in-store shoppers to see for themselves the amazing new kids and babywear we now offer in the majority of our stores.
“Online, we’ve got over 100 Black Friday deals throughout the week so customers can save even more.”
