Poundland is aiming to open or relocate 75 stores by the end of December.

Poundland store openings planned for the next few weeks include former Wilko sites and six previous M&Co stores

The scheme covers its existing pipeline of new stores and the former Wilko sites it acquired to transform into Poundland stores.

The variety discounter has already opened new stores in Telford and Stafford this month and plans to open and relocate other stores in November.

Poundland store openings planned for the next few weeks include the former Wilko site in Birmingham Fort and six previous M&Co stores at Portishead, Crewkerne, Midsomer Norton, Faversham, Newport and Wells.

Poundland’s new store in Watford also marks the first time it will relocate to part of a former John Lewis unit.
