Vans and Evans Cycles are the two latest retailers to sign up to Scotland’s new Buchanan Street development in Glasgow city centre.
The £70m development by landlord Land Securities on 185-221 Buchanan Street will feature footwear retailer Vans’ first Scottish store.
The two additions join retailers Forever 21, Paperchase, Gap, Fat Face, Office and Watches of Switzerland in the site which is now fully pre-let featuring 19 shops.
The development is due to open on March 22, the day after fellow Land Securities’ retail development Trinity Leeds is due to open.
Evans Cycles Mike Hedgecox said: “We have been looking for a suitable city-centre store in Glasgow for some time and are delighted to have secured a unit at 185-221 Buchanan Street.”
Land Securities development director for retail Nick Davis said: “The addition of these two major brands underlines the strength of Glasgow’s reputation as one of the UK’s most successful retail destinations and will further enhance Buchanan Street’s shopping offer.”
