Danish fashion chains Jack & Jones and Vero Moda will open a new dual fascia shop on Oxford Street.
Parent Bestseller, which also operates other international brands including Vila and Name It, has signed a 15 year lease at 175 Oxford Street at a new £40m mixed use retail site, owned by Salmon Harvester Properties and NFU Mutual.
The three-floor 8, 500 sq ft store, located adjacent to Marks & Spencer on the iconic shopping street, will operate under the two fascias and open in three months.
David Harper at Harper Dennis Hobbs, the agent that acted for Bestseller, said: “This will be Bestseller’s flagship Oxford Street store and represents tremendous confidence in the UK retail market.”
Erol Ezen of letting agent Thomas Davidson, which acted for Salmon Harvester and NFU Mutual, along with agent Jackson Criss, said: “This letting vindicates the developer’s bold decision to speculatively build the project through the depth of the recession.”
