Waitrose has reshuffled its senior directors following northern stores boss Mark Wilson’s departure to The Midcounties Co-operative.
Wilson, who was director of retail operations north at the grocer, will be replaced by Ben Stimson, who has been director of retail services at Waitrose since March 2012.
Stimson was previously head of operations for Waitrose southeast England branches and was managing director at sister company John Lewis’ Leicester store before that.
Helen Keppel-Compton takes on the director of retail services role when Stimson takes the northern role next month.
She will take responsibility for retail change, retail coordination and customer experience at the grocer.
Keppel-Compton has been head of procurement for partnership services since 2011 and was head of multichannel content at John Lewis beforehand.
Both roles will report into retail director Rob Collins, who said: “Ben and Helen each bring a proven track record and a wealth of experience to these key areas of our business.”
