Shoppers and staff were evacuated from Westfield Stratford City this lunchtime after a small fire broke out in a service area.
The London Fire Brigade responded to a call from Westfield at 12.49pm reporting a fire. Three fire engines attended the call and the fire was put out at 1.06pm.
On the scene they found a small fire in the service yard at the premises.
The fire brigade confirmed no one was injured.
Videos posted to social media show people streaming out of the East London shopping centre while smoke rises from a service area and alarm bells ring.
Westfield said it was unable to comment at this time.
