Wilko administrator PwC has announced a list of branches that will close next week, following the retailer’s collapse.
In total, 110 Wilko branches are slated for closure next week after no buyer of the entire business was found. Competitors B&M and Poundland have both picked up tranches of Wilko shops, and The Range bought the Wilko brand, website and intellectual property.
The closure of all of Wilko’s unsold stores is expected to result in the loss of around 9,000 jobs. This week, 86 branches (not listed below) closed or will close.
