Women’s clothing and accessories chain East is to improve its reporting, critical path management, allocation and replenishment processes after upgrading its head office system.
The allocation and replenishment functionality will be live by the end of September, after East’s upgrade to Prologic CIMS version 7.7.
In October, East, which has 77 stores and concessions, will begin a longer-term project to review reporting processes across the business.
East said the critical path management module will aid business growth, including the opening of four shops in India earlier this year.
East IT manager Angus Stewart said its existing processes are time-consuming, with a number of teams constantly having to access spreadsheets for product information.
