BRC notes June price fall

High street prices fell by 0.06 per cent month on month in June, the British Retail Consortium noted. Prices rose 0.74 per cent year on year. BRC director general Kevin Hawkins said: 'June saw retailers yet again face inflationary pressures outside of their control and hold back the impact on prices.'
