The work has added 50,600 sq ft (4,700 sq m) of retail space to the scheme. The extension includes a 30,000 sq ft (2,790 sq m) medium-sized unit, which value fashion retailer H&M has taken, and five smaller stores.
The extension has also attracted Mango, which has opened a 2,400 sq ft (225 sq m) store at the scheme and Body Shop, which has relocated from Bromley High Street.
Capital Shopping Centres managing director Kay Chaldecott said: “We are delighted that, following the completion of the remodelling, The Glades is able to provide first-class accommodation to successful, quality retailers.”
