Carrefour families get deal

Carrefour chief Daniel Bernard has struck an agreement with the Halley and March families, giving the trio control of 16 per cent of the retailer's share capital and 25 per cent of voting rights. In June, three other shareholding families decided not to renew a deal that gave the other families first refusal on shares they were selling.
