Dixons has debuted in Belgium with two travel stores in Brussels Airport under its Knowhow brand.
The electricals retailer, which owns Currys and PC World, opened one shop on Saturday and will open another store in tomorrow.
They are the first stores to open under Dixons’ Knowhow brand, which was introduced in 2011 to offer support for customers’ technology needs, as well as product installation, set up and repair.
Knowhow services adapted for airport customers have been available in all Dixons travel stores since spring 2012.
The retailer is offering customers a flight-ready service which ensures products are sold fully-charged and with key apps already downloaded to make it more convenient for using the gadgets on their first flight.
Dixons Travel head of expansion and development Gavin Wood said: “Knowhow stores are great news for travellers using Brussels airport, who will be able to enhance their travelling experience with our market-beating prices and multi-channel shopping.”
